It is designed to address the challenges present in agrifood systems, focusing on sustainable food production and problem solving in agricultural production through applied research, process innovation and data analysis for efficient decision-making and responsible use of natural resources. 

Our goal is to drive a more prosperous and more food-secure emerging world through sustainable agrifood and nutrition systems. 

The Agronomic Engineering program covers various areas, including Animal Husbandry, which focuses on the production of cattle, fish and poultry, among others; as well as Phytotechnics, which deals with the production, propagation and protection of plants, the management and conservation of soils, the management of water resources and the use of agricultural machinery.
