Zamorano organized the Knowledge Olympics 2024 to promote academic excellence

To raise academic quality and strengthen the professional competencies of our students, the Zamorano Knowledge Olympics 2024 were held. This event, aimed second year students, allowed participants to test their acquired knowledge in various learning areas and demonstrate their preparation to face future challenges.

Organized in collaboration between the Directorate of General Curriculum and the Associate Dean of Students (DAE), and with the active support of the faculty. The main objective was to stimulate scholastic achievement and foster a spirit of healthy competition among young people, who are preparing to become agents of change in the professional field.

During the event, the students showed a high level of motivation and participation, interacting actively throughout the different phases of the competition. At the end, the winning teams were recognized and awarded for their achievements. These Olympiads not only served to evaluate the academic proficiency of each participant, but also to strengthen their competitive and social skills, which are fundamental for their integral development as future professionals.

This type of initiative underscores Zamorano's commitment to academic excellence and the complete development of its students, promoting spaces where they can demonstrate and perfect their knowledge and skills.

The Pan-American Agricultural School Zamorano and IDB Lab, the innovation division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), have signed a significant agreement to establish AgroHub: Innovation and Agrifood Entrepreneurship. This groundbreaking project aims to transform the agrifood ecosystem in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, with a special focus on small-scale farmers, sustainability, and climate resilience.
