#WeAreZamorano

Founded in 1942, Zamorano is a university with a long tradition and prestige. It is considered by governments and the private sector as a strategic partner for the advancement of agricultural programs and enterprises that benefit not only Honduras, but all Latin America.

Our campus is a botanical garden spanning 4,500 hectares, located in the heart of the Americas in Honduras, just 30 km from Tegucigalpa.

We have laboratories, research centers, production and marketing units, as well as an agro-industrial park for hands-on learning in real environments.

We protect the Uyuca Biological Reserve, which covers a total area of 907 hectares full of biodiversity in fauna and flora.

We have a solar park that supplies 37% of Zamorano's energy demand.
